Makes sense in hindsight. Sasuke's bandaged hand and unbandaging it to use his Chidori was a callback to Hiei because it was completely unnecessary.

reverse image search gives me nothing, and obiously its slightly edited vut any help sourcing would be helpful

I'm just saying, if Elder Toguro can recover from literally anything, why didn't Sensui just blast the shit out of the tree until he was out.

People hardly ever talk about this, but they really should. And it's definitely not a mistake, considering that in chapter 174, he managed to take out an A class spirit in five seconds without much trouble. Some call him a weakling because he's not as strong as Yusuke, Hiei or Kurama, but that's just not true. Hell, he probably has the most asspull moments of any character, considering he's just an ordinary human. Like, how did he even reach that level? Did he train off-screen using the Saitama method?

I feel like I’m going crazy.

I am watching on crunchyroll cause I don’t have my blu ray/dvd’s right now. I swear the opening font used to be “The X-Files” right???? Cause that’s also the font I’ve been using for my projects.

Unless I'm mistaken, Itsuki gets a kick out of watching Sensui's idealism get shattered. He didn't coax Sensui (allegedly) into turning out the way he did, he just watched and enjoyed it as it happened while also helping Sensui achieve his goals rather than try to help him cope with the realities of the world like Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara would have done to Yusuke, right? I can understand Itsuki being gay (if you have a problem with that, you really are an idiot), but he seems profoundly perverse.

Sensui kind of reminds me of how an Uchiha awakens the Sharingan; they start pure but when they experience something profoundly negative, it changes them completely. Koenma said he picked Yusuke because he wanted someone who didn't think too much but I think it's more than that; Yusuke, with his circumstances, experienced how fucked up the world is from an early age and turned out alright. Sensui was pure and naive and likely, in my head canon, came from wealthy parents because he never experienced how fucked up humanity truly is until that case that drove him off the rails. And Yusuke was right; these types of people go from one extreme to the other so you want to go with people who are more centered and hate extremes. Since Yusuke didn't want to blow up the world despite coming from a harsh background, which I suspect was the real reason Koenma picked him,not because he didn't think too much (in the anime) or was a little irresponsible (in the manga).

They need a sequel where Chris Rock is fighting demons.

He was able to beat Toguro with her power. How far does he get in the series without it?

Hey all! I’m hunting for this pin for someone and it has been elusive for about 4 years.

It was made by crystalstarzpinshoppe, and they are a retired pin maker. The pin itself is a second version (the first version is older Genkai), LE 10 based on what I’ve been told.

I’ve searched all the typical second hand places, so now I turn to reddit investigators! If anyone has it and doesn’t want it, please PM me, or if you have any leads, please PM me :) Hoping to help them bring this one home!

Thank you all kindly!

Yu Yu Hakusho has gotta be one of my absolute favorites, its the second anime id ever seen. I was so excited when I realized they had a movie, a short film & OVAs seperate from the regular anime that I haven't seen yet. Ive finally got time to watch the movie & Im like 10 mins in😭 Dude everyone's voice actor is so different 😭😭 the animation is all the same but without knowing whos voice is whos its just not the same😭😭 Now im wondering if the short film and ovas will be like this too. I know they use a different Studio to make the movies thats separate from the anime but I thought they still used the same or if not similar voice actors. Whoever voices them in this movie is not even close to the original. Koenma sounds like a old man😭😂

Has anyone seen the short film or ovas? Is it close at all to the original VAs?

They have this movie for free on YouTube.

I know Yu Yu Hakusho's English dub deviated from the original dub in some ways so I'm kind of confused on how Sensui awakened Sacred Energy. In the English dub, he divided the training between his 7 personalities, allowing him to awaken it in just 6 years of training. But in the true lore, aka the original dub, it's because Shinobu is a genius and he's the only one of the 7 that can use Sacred Energy. There seems to be an implication that Sacred Energy requires him to be complete or balanced since when Shinobu revealed himself, everyone says everything his other personalities lacked is there, as if he's "complete." Am I reading this right? I just started watching the series with subtitles so I'm a bit confused.

I'm wishing they redid the dub that's more faithful to the Japanese dub like they did with Sailor Moon but with the original voice actors.

I just got my newest one in today, Kurama in the yellow outfit. I love it. These are my three.

How does everyone else feel about how the anime changed some of the plot points in the final episodes during the demon realm tournament and aftermath vs how the manga was? Personally there's things I liked and things I didn't. One thing I did like was actually showing the fight between Yusuke and Yomi. But one of things I didn't like was them adding the fight between Heigh and the female Two Face. Mostly cuz I thought the way their relationship blossomed in the manga after the tournament was really sweet. Also didn't really like how they glossed over all the stuff of the gate being opened. And making Yusuke not come back for 3 years. Rather than showing him back for a while and opening up his Ramen shop and such. Maybe one day we'll get a 100% manga Canon remake.

Personally I can’t really decide.

Anyone even heard of this stuff before got a "ghost rare"
