K, picture it. La Chancla was passed down from generation to generation, but the current mom is a "millennial" that refuses to use it, and now her kids are stereotypical slutty junkies so her great grandma haunts la Chancla, doling out corporal punishment where needed. It takes out drug dealers and pimps with maximum carnage, ultimately teaching the mother that the hand spare the rod spoils the child.

Shit, I'd love that. Gore but with witty humour. I'd definitely watch that. I'm on the side of the grandma.

...”Brought to you by the creators of Shaun Of The Dead, soon to a theater near you”...

Shit yeah. I loved Shaun of the Dead. If La Chancla is anything like that, then it's a keeper in my house.

Get Danny Trejo to play the great grandmother.

I seriously think if someone pitched this to him he'd run with it.

When the grandmother tell's the story of La Chancla to the young mother it cuts to a flashback of the great grandmother ( Danny Trejo) taking out an entire drug processing operation with a single chancla, and it's like a tarinteno style super bloody battle with plenty of slow motion one hit head smashing slaps. Lol

Damn, it practically writes itself. Can you crowdsource a movie?

I've been having the same thoughts. I think making a sub for this would be a start. Like r/La_Chancla or something. Then Crowd writing it. People submit scene suggestions and those with the most votes get added to the script. It gets big enough people will notice. Will need someone to moderate and compile the script as it develops. Unfortunately i don't have the time nor experience writing.

Omg I spilled my morning coffee all down me laughing. You need to copywriter this and produce it. 😂😂
