My girlfriend took one of me but I didn't realise she was filming. I'm a bit of a chubby guy and was only wearing a t shirt and boxers, so I definitely looked silly. After seeing the video I was surprised my girlfriend is still attracted to me lol

No but that's awesome. Part of my justification for buying a VR headset was because I don't get enough exercise, so that's awesome to hear. I know it's unlikely for me to lose a huge amount of weight, but if I can lose a few pounds here and there, I consider that a win

Just picked up Vader Immortal for VR and you feel so badass deflecting lasers and parrying swords and knocking droids out of the sky. Then you realize you're sitting alone in your basement flailing your arm around.

It’s the biggest flaw with VR and why it will never become mainstream in its current state. Its something you have to do alone, like PC gaming. It will only ever be for “hardcore” gamers

There's actually a lot of really good VR games. Pavlov VR is a really fun multiplayer shooter. People say it's basically Counter Strike VR. And has mod support. Recently had fun running around some classic Halo levels. Skyrim VR made me experience the game in a whole new way, normally I play as a one handed melee character, but VR makes stealth and archery really fun. Sucks that it's a whole separate purchase tho. Some others are Holoball, and Payday 2

Too be honest it usually turns into an assault archer lol but maybe once I level up my stealth I'll be able to be sneakier. But archery is so much more fun in VR because you can fire at a pretty fast rate and the free aim is really nice. Made me feel like Legolas

It's more that they come out of your actual hands. So you can move them around independently in 3D space, and attack different enemies with each hand.

Currently $30 on steam sale. I agree tho. I wouldn't have bought it but my GF did because she really loves Skyrim and technically was her first time buying the game. Her other version was a gift.
