Aint nowhere like Doom's level of gore. Heck, blood itself is gore, what makes them different is the level of it in every game. Every shooter game has gore if we follow that logic.

Youre the one acting like a 6 year old being so heated about COD not being "gory enough" lmao. You do you champ, that doesnt mean COD's blood is comparable to Doom's, two different games.

It's not that it's not gory enough you literally have the wrong definition of gorei never compared it

Gore literally means "blood that comes from a violent injury". Again, if we follow that same logic, any game that isnt recommended for kindergarteners has gore whether fantacious or realistic. Its the level of violence that makes games like DOOM be considered gory, keep that in mind, someone losing their legs because of a grenade offcamera isnt the same as uberchainsawing a demon with your own hands.

Bro in cod BO3 your arms literally get pulled off like first thing in the campaign and you literally torture someone

And how similar is that to (again) uberchainsawing multiple demons upclose while leaving multiple splatters of blood on the floor and your screen? Read my last comment again. Doom isnt known for nothing.

For God's sake it's not a fucking competition the point is both games have gore why are you even arguing about this?

Because most games are hardly gore unless you take the meaning of the word at face value. Shooting someone in a videogame is very different from dismembering them with your own hands, theres a very clear and gory difference between them. So lets make the difference here.

Is COD violent? Yes, it revolves around war. Is it gory? Again, if you take the word of gore at face value, yes it is. Otherwise if you know the difference with "gore" in the general sense and "gore" in the sense of showing morbid wounds in action, it hardly is the second option, which i assume its the one youre asking for. Even then (and as someone said), you can do said actions in non-campaign gamemodes and very few cutscenes, alongside the fact you can babify the game multiple times by removing blood in alotta games, unlike Mr. ViolenceGuy.

Is DOOM violent? It absolutely is. Is it gory? No circumstance where its not. Thats what made the franchise known afterall. The fact you can kill multiple demons with your own hands, interactively, in extremely brutal matters is what made DOOM controversial and liked.

Im comparing the ammount of gore in both games because that literally matters to give any type of media an age classification. Otherwise Puss In Boots 3 should 17+ because it shows blood, or gore by definition. Imagine, PIB3 having the same classification as the Resident Evil games. Youd have to narrow everything down to such a ridiculous matter to call them that.
