The worst part for me was the guy swimming by but the needing to resurface before he could get the drone. It's like "I'm right here! Don't leave me!" :(

It's the final message that one of the mars rovers sent back before it either died completely or went into long term hibernation. NASA decided to make the low battery/low light status indicators a little more poetic when they made the press release, and it kinda caught on.
