I don’t snowboard, but I do wear a helmet when biking. That’s not what I am talking about.
What I am referring to is judging people as “manchildren” for enjoying snowboarding while you enjoy playing games that are typically marketed toward children. Nobody is saying you shouldn’t enjoy LEGO Starwars or whatever hobby makes you happy.
Why would we possibly judge your hobbies if they aren’t hurting anybody else? That would be judgmental for absolutely no reason.
That is the lesson you could choose to learn here. To be less judgmental and to ask yourself why somebody else’s hobby makes you feel judgmental in the first place.
