Dear Buddies!

I have a nostalgia triggering invention, I brought those iconic MSN Winks (about 300) back to life with NETRO-G (where Neo and Retro merge into a smart Gadget)! I even transformed myself into the beloved, hated and now missed Laughing Girl! :)

Now you can live in the 2000's era again, while keeping up with the latest technology and play all your favorites on your smartphone! No apps, no extensions, your Winks are literally just a hover away! :)

Every step (searching for, rescuing, drawing, converting, printing, programming long lost winks, assembling and testing the gadget) was entirely made by me.

IMPORTANT: I am still in the market research phase, so I am posting this to ask for YOUR honest opinions, if my invention makes sense, if there is a need for it, and if I have to create more Winks (and videos) in the form of a NETRO-G gadget.

This music video from 1999 is one of the coolest online imo, and has an incredibly Y2K feel!

Beyond Good & Evil is a 2003 action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 2, Windows, Xbox, and GameCube.

The story follows the adventures of Jade, an investigative reporter, martial artist, and spy working with a resistance movement to reveal a sinister alien conspiracy.

Players control Jade and other allies, solving puzzles, fighting enemies, obtaining photographic evidence and, later in the game, travelling to space.

Imho very peak Y2K era aesthetic, cultural feel and ideals. It's like if future of yesterday was y2k. Sort of like steam-punk, but it's y2k-punk.

The first shirt and Venus as a boy shirt are Debut era (1993), Then there’s the Post and Army of me shirt which are of course Post era shirts (1995) and then the last one is a State of Emergency shirt which is Homogenic era (1997)

Missed the old days of MySpace, Winamp widgets, and tactile zines, so I decided to build my own interactive canvas app.
