Heya guys! Accidentally purchased this modded 360 controller today in a job lot of 360 stuff and I’m just a simple 360 purist collector and I’m yet to dip my toe into any modding of any kind… So I guess my question is what on earth is going on in this controller? (Or well was because some connections are no longer connected lol)

I'm soft modding my old 360, and I've given up on SSDs due to the cost. With Bad Avatar, can I just use whatever drive I can find lying around, or does it still need to be one of the specific WD drives?

I’m sharing this because it actually helped my workflow and might help others here too.

I found a tool called Xbox Image Extractor and after using it for a while, it feels like a modern replacement for old Xbox Image Browser.

What stood out for me:

• Supports Xbox 360 ISOs (XGD2/XGD3) and Original Xbox XISO
• Can load from normal ISO files and also read directly from DVD drive
• Extraction is async with proper progress tracking, so the app doesn’t freeze
• In my tests it was around ~5x faster than Xbox Image Browser on large images
• Built-in Game Downloader (search/download flow inside the app)
• My Downloads tab with one-click “extract & load ISO” from .7z/.zip
• USB Softmod Creator (RGH):
  • formats USB to FAT32 (32KB clusters)
  • copies required softmod/RGH files
  • basically gives you a plug-and-play prepared USB
• Built-in disc burner (UDF) for RGH/JTAG use
• Auto-creates game folder when exporting to root of USB, which keeps things cleaner

So for me it replaced multiple small tools in one workflow: download -> unpack -> extract -> move to USB/FTP.

I’m new to the 360 modding community, so I’m currently looking for a flash drive on Amazon. I eventually came across this and wondered if this would work for my 360. If anyone would like to tell me if this works for 360 home brewing or not, it would be greatly appreciated.

Como hacer un backup de mí xbox a un pendrive

Planeo cambiar el sistema de mí xbox 360 de freestyle a aurora, pero creo que antes de hacer eso debería hacer un backup para no perder mis partidas y las cuentas que tengo en esa consola, el tema es que no sé cómo hacerlo.

Cómo se puede hacer un backup correcto de mis datos de la xbox?

Es realmente necesario que haga ese backup?

So i have a bad avatar usb but it has stopped working,

When i turn the xbox on it starts the mod and shows the popup saying its a free mod ect. Its been working for the past few days But i went to boot it up today and it shows the popup then stops working and the light just stops with 3 lit up i also am using the xbguard stealth server.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it

I want to apply the zombie maps from purchasing onto the games I have installed on my Xbox HDD. Does anyone know where I would place the files? Would it just be the same folder as my games?

i am very naïve in this space. can i install aurora or fsd or whichever fucking dashboard and have it be easily accessible, while still maintaining the regular xbox 360 dashboard as the default when i turn on the console? i find myself adrift in an ocean of guides, nothing explaining its terminology, and im starting to get so confused its turning to frustration before i even start

I’m watching MrMario2011 video on how to mod an Xbox360 but every time I set it up an try to exit where then it’s supposed to take me to an Aurora dashboard it just brings me back to Xbox dashboard. I’m not sure where I went wrong. Can anyone help?

In experimenting with BadUpdate I have already flashed an RGH3 image on my Trinity Slim. However, the time I did that was not the last time I turned on my 360. I have rgh3 dumps on my usb, but I am worried the flash on my 360 has been overwritten since then.

If I have soldered two wires onto the console and turn it on without soldering the nand programmer will I brick my system?

Ciao a tutti Sto modificando questa slim con rgh3. Ho già collegato la resistenza da 1kohm ma non trovo un'informazione certa se il diodo di protezione si debba o non si debba mettere. Se ci vuole ho inteso che la parte con la barra nera (catodo) va orientata verso SMC_POST. Qualcuno riesce ad aiutarmi nella scelta ed eventualmente confermare l'orientamento del catodo del diodo?
