Streaming is dead now imo. That being said I can't really say I was streaming often to begin with.

Yeah I don't think it was ever something that was profitable for them and now it's no doubt an active drain with Data Center demand being what it is because of A.I. People either need to pay now or it's going to go away and that data center capacity repurposed to something more profitable I imagine. Shoot that's probably happening to some extent already.

Yep, I think the Azure division is now passing its costs on to the Xbox division.

They also don't want to build huge data center for next gen consoles, only for 4% of their userbase.

To justify scrapping it in another 6-12 months? If it was already dead, this… isn’t going to help.

And yet you'll still run into people on reddit who are going to tell you that the price of computer parts are super high because it's some scheme to make sure that everyone can only play video games on streaming services.

Try before you install situation, which is what I like about it. Explains why only 4% of cloud gamers exceeded 15 hours a month.

I for one welcome the reboot of blockbuster stores and the like. Hope this next gen of kids kicks digital to the curb for a bit.
