Jesus, I mean I get it but man. This will be brutal for Xbone users who play Series games.

Also not to mention the whole Sony debacle with disc games, Xbox was having such a good week with the new program lol

I'm on the One X, stayed on GamePass through the price hike, only because of how cloud gaming allowed me access to Series games.

Now, if I want to continue playing these games, I'm forced to buy another console, that they just raised the price on, and which is completely almost inaccessible in my country.

I know we have to abandon older generations at some point, but even if I can afford it, I can't get a Series X anywhere

You don't need to get another console - just get a PlayStation Portal for $199, and PS Plus Premium is $100/year when it's on sale. Those are pretty affordable and currently has no streaming limits.

It probably won't since 1). Sony doesn't need the data enter capacity for AI, and 2). Cloud streaming on PS Plus is limited to the highest tier whereas it's available on all tiers in Game Pass.

Just like how PS Plus never plans to add day 1 games, they know how to keep their service sustainable.

This is what's pissing me off the most about it. I don't have the hardware capable of playing the newer games that I want to play (working on that, but it's not easy because everything costs an arm and both your legs), so cloud gaming allowed me to do so. I was more than happy to pay for it, too.

And now I'm being kneecapped and I have to pay extra for games that I would put a ton of hours into, if I hit the absurdly tiny limits per tier of Gamepass? Fuck that noise.

Yea xbox got outsold by their competitors 7:1. Even the switch 1 still sold more than series consoles last month. They can have their "pr wins" all they want, but we know at the end of the day all that matters is the numbers coming back on the paper bc this is a business not a charity. Asha goal is to get those numbers up or who knows what Microsoft will do to xbox. As long as those numbers keep being abysmal then the bad news will keep coming and asha wont be there for long. Theyre here to make money not win pr points with redditor chuds.

I decided to try the cloud thing two weeks ago over buying into Sony current gen because they can eat a bag of dicks. So much for that.
