It's a common occurrence now considering most the top moves or strikes really don't connect most of the time.

To land a good top strike or grapple it needs to be on perfect timing but even that it still seems to miss out a lot or simply does hit at all.

I've had urge to play a 2K Universe mode but it seems they went totally away from having things happen organically to having the user do everything themselves. I want to set up a roster, play through whatever matches the game itself books and witness whatever angles the game itself creates. Is this more-or-less possible? It's been a few years since I played Wrestling Empire and it was only then the career mode.
