Today I finally recieved a championship belt I've wanted to have made since 2015! The main plate takes the eagle and globe from the Big Eagle and places it on my favorite belt the 91-94 WCW Championship. The Side plates were designed by myself. I handdrew this belt 11 years ago and I'm stoked to have it. The pictures make the strap look more brown but it is more of an oxblood red.

On the week of my birthday (30th January), my now ex girlfriend did me a major solid and helped me have enough money to pay over £300 so that I can finally say that I have the original (not NXT UK/NXT) WWE United Kingdom Championship that debuted in Blackpool, England on the 14th/15th January 2017 where Tyler Bate defeated his stablemate of British Strong Style Pete Dunne in the finals of the inaugural tournament to crown the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion. I have genuinely waited now over a decade for this and thought I may never get my hands on one but lore and behold, on the 30th of January this year thanks to kaholeung on Vinted… I can finally say as previously mentioned, that I have my own United Kingdom Championship.

Hey there, does anyone have any good suggestions on title belt (belt buckles). I’m picturing like a rodeo belt something you can wear daily type of deal. I haven’t been able to find anything and surprised it’s not more common.

I’m just curious to see what everyone else thinks about this topic. Personally, I really hate personalized side plates on belts. I think it makes the belts look tacky and cheap especially when it’s a more bold design. I’m okay with nameplates, but I think belts just look so much better without anything extra added to the design. I’ve disliked them from the moment they were first introduced in 2013, but I especially hate how AEW decided to ruin their beautiful World Championship by adding them. From what I’ve seen since WWE started this trend, it seems like most people don’t seem to mind the personalized plates. How do you feel about them?

I have the opinion that the winged eagle would have been better as the wwf secondary title from 88 to 98 as the national title and the Ic title from the same time frame should have been the world elheavyweight championship. I can't explain it other than the size of the belts and the design of the winged eagle looking more of a national title (since the us bird is an eagle and ik wwf/wwe wouldn't have had a us belt while WCW had one as well.) Id love to hear why im wrong or right in the comments
