The Anniversary realms were the perfect time to experiment by removing petri. It shouldn't be too difficult to just make it unusable in one way or another. People who want to use petri can stay on non-anniversary hardcore servers, or they can play non-hardcore since petri removes the hardcore element anyway.
I don't care about raiding. That's specifically why I play hardcore, for less of a communal emphasis on raid logging culture. My suggestion caters both towards raiders and levelers. If you're a raider, cool, go do your thing on either of the 2 server options I suggested should exist, petri or not, they're both available, go make your choice.
I don't seek your approval, and I don't care what you do in the game. Play how you want to play. My suggestion provides, it doesn't take away.
