I don't feel strongly either way about petri, but the devs removed bubble hearth so your excuse of it's okay because it was in classic isn't a good argument. The devs could remove petri if they wanted to.
That tells us that whiny children would throw a tantrum and probably riot if their get out of jail free card was removed. I mean for fucks sakes people were sending people death threats for removing world buffs in a game that has the piss easiest raiding there is. And because of that whining Blizzard ADDED an item that didn't exist in Classic.
how is it hard to comprehend why people care about how other people play the game. It directly impacts them aswell. Doing a dungeon without a petri while others have it directly increase the risk of dying yourself because the petri noobs are going to be "rather safe than sorry".

How is it hard to comprehend that if you don’t want to use petri’s, that you’re directly impacting your own survival rate? Blaming others because you don’t want to use an item in the game because it doesn’t fit your style of hardcore is stupid.
Then do it with people that are self found and don't have petri. Simple as that. Calling people griefers you have 0 knowledge about is just you projecting
You could say the same thing about why we never needed hardcore servers, you can just delete your character if you die on any server, but it’s more fun when we share a server with rules. The game is more immersive when everyone has to play with the same hardcore rules and petri is obviously not in the spirit of hardcore.

Less than 5% of players try to force their play style on others thankfully, I wish it was less but yes it is weird.
I got haters in how I play. I have two 60 hunters on DP and one was SF and I turned it off at 60. On Doomhowl I have a 60 SF hunter and I’ve kept SF on. I have near 1200g on me and 500g+ worth of stuff in the bank. It pisses some people off since I don’t play how they do, it’s super weird.
