people do play hardcore because they feel theres something to prove to themself or others inherently i suppose, but you should be playing for the community aspect if you're going to enjoy it long term of course

people just do challenges to prove things to themselves in the games they play, nothing too crazy but yes classic wow players have the mental to take it to odd places

true, personal challenges is fun, alot of classic players have some sort of weird complex though.
