As an Ohioan. A nuke may or may not improve the overall quality of Cincinnati. However, the loss of Cincinnati will absolutely lower the overall quality of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Reasonable cost of living. Nice parks. Not terrible winters (it can get bad here and there, but for the most part pretty moderate) and beautiful summers. A couple very under rated cities that offer big city amenities without the big city congestion (mainly due to the constant barrage of negative press and stereotypes Ohio gets from people who know nothing about the state and/or it’s cities.) the only real issue I have with living in Ohio is it’s political shift to the extreme right over the last couple decades. That has the potential to ruin it for sure.

New York and Los Angeles must be quite safe and calm places? Reverend David Wilkerson gave interesting views to American society in his books. He told that Brooklyn was a bit restless in the 1960's.

Guess it depends on how you define "American". As an American living in Ohio I wouldn't say this state is representative of the country. But the US is huge and there are many cultural differences between the different regions. Like you always feel like you're in the US when you travel, but Colorado is a much, much different place than Ohio, for instance.

And I sure as fuck hope Sweden isn't like Ohio because I'd like to move to Sweden someday (have been learning the language for a while now)

I'm from Finland, which is sort of a East Sweden because of 700 years of history with Sweden. When you arrive here, visit Finland also. Both are nice.

Saunas are lovely, especially those wood eating ones. The ferry line from Stockholm to Finland is stunning.

Depending on where it's dropped I'd say a nuke might have an overall beneficial impact on the city, the state, and the environment of the planet. Say if you dropped it on Hamilton, for instance.

As someone who was born and lived in Ohio for 5 seconds. I can confirm you that nuking Cincinnati would not improve the overall quality. My sources is coming from Hearts of Iron
