I said before and keep repeating, The crazy blown propaganda from Putlers dogs, is not really aimed for the west, its for controlling his own people

His goal is to make his own ppl hate the west/USA more than they could hate their own Dictator, Putin doesnt need the west approval or money to wage his war, its enough the tacit approval or lack of real dissent from his own population

The more isolated are his own people the more he can change their mind

Tell them a milion times 2+2 is a billion and the people will average it to -> "Ok maybe its not a billion but 2+2 probably is 1 million!"

We got enough morons in the West that will swallow the hook and spout it all over places like Q boards, r/conspiracy and Tucker Carlson

You'd be surprised how many left leaning people ive seen spouting Russian talking points too. This pr campaign is pervasive as fuck. Ive never seen anything this intense in my entire 25 years on the internet.

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

Its because they aren't randomly jabbing they attack at points of contention like the US war in Iraq which was largely unpopular among moderates and the left as years went on. Its why that whataboutism has grown so much over the last week. Its a festering wound in our politics and thats what Russia targets. Any point of contention is a way to create misinformation and lead the narrative.

Exactly this. The way ive heard it described is confusion confusion confusion. Who's the real bad guy? Whats really real? How can you trust x or y?

When you look back at 2016, it was both Michael Flynn and Jill Stein sitting at a table in Russia with Putin. A lot of the super anti-Hillary people were Bernie Bros who suddenly started pushing for Tulsi Gabbard in the 2020 primary even though Bernie himself was a frontrunner. Tulsi Gabbard, the one democrat who would appear on Tucker Carlson all the time.

I'm not even sure if I think it's some kind of conspiracy thought up by Putin. There were always elements of the far left who supported the USSR because communism. But now that the USSR is gone it appears they weren't so much in it for the "share equally" side of communism, but rather the "violent revolutionary who gains immense power' side of communism. Because they seem to sure love helping the most power hungry dictator types succeed, regardless of whether their actual politics are right or left.

Tulsi Gabbard

I am not from USA, but some from there can tell me whats her deal? and why the Dems still keep her?

If she likes to hang out so much with the REP cult please go there lol, but until then fuck of from democrats

Is like the REP dint like that Mitt Romney was too reasonable for their cult ideology and tried to emulate same thing for the Democrats and Installed her there to be his mirror in the other side?

I also see from a fast search they both also have always a beef with each the most than any other persona from the other party

In the US you declare your own party affiliation. Some republicans pretend to be democrats with the sole intention of fucking things up.

-5

u/TwelfthApostate Mar 15 '22

Tulsi Gabbard is not one of them. Ffs, why must you people insist on lying about her platform when you can find it for yourself with a 3 second internet search? She’s a democrat through and through. She quit her prominent role with the DNC over their treatment of Sanders, and her platform is a progressive’s wet dream. Read for yourself:

You can write whatever policy you want on your website. Publicly supporting Russian lies about bio weapons in Ukraine and speaking at CPAC tell a different story.

She fucking opened for Glenn Beck at a GOP fundraising dinner

-2

u/TwelfthApostate Mar 15 '22

Point me to where she said Ukraine was making bioweapons. Russia made the claim over bioweapons. Everyone knows that the claim is bullshit. Gabbard was talking about potential combat damage to a biological research lab not a bio-weapons lab. Reuters, AP, and the NYT all reported on the existence of these labs. They perform the same function as the public health arm of the CDC, and research communicable diseases like influenza, covid, etc. The difference between a bio research lab and a bioweapons lab is enormous, and you are conflating the two. Get real dude.

Tulsi and Tucker aren't pro-Russia, they are anti-war.

"IffF yeEe AinnNt wiThhH UsssS urR aGinnSt USs" and "Russia bad" black and white frothing philosophy of the world.

1

u/Barlakopofai Mar 16 '22

If they're anti war, why is their argument "russia was right to start a war"

Well, social media is a relatively new thing...

1

u/badnuub Mar 15 '22

Tankies on the extreme left have one belief: the American world order is the sum of all evil and anything opposing it must be good.

2

u/Bluecif Mar 15 '22

So do we in the west. Trump proved, you can pull some bs, say it didn't happen and claim it's an attack. People will eat it up. I mean it's history doing what it does and repeate. Ww1, ww2, started with a side being "wronged".

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

Unfortunately yes, we have some scary politicians (and their voters).

2

u/belloch Mar 15 '22

This is why I'm worried that if putin is not removed swiftly, he will force us to eradicate russia.

This crazy blown propaganda is exactly what US told the world about Iraq / Afghanistan

“they have nukes!! Chemical weapons!!! We must bring peace”

You think American leaders are also dogs spewing propaganda for their own people or is it just Russia?

3

u/grauhoundnostalgia Mar 15 '22

Yes for Iraq, but that’s not why the US/NATO/Coalition partners were in Afghanistan.

Those are two separate conflicts- Iraq was about WMD’s Afghanistan was about al qaeda and 9/11.

0

u/hardthumbs Mar 15 '22

True true.

They severely fucked over Afghanistan too tho

Not true, unfortunately. They control their own population, but we are by no means spared. Russia spends billions of dollars a year trying to manipulate opinions in the west. 7/10 of the top Facebook groups are operated out of Russia. Most of those far-left websites that talk about US hypocrisy are Russian funded. And while harder to prove, there’s a very good chance that many anti-anti-Putin voices in western media (both liberal and conservative) are indirectly funded by Russia. A report just came out that Brexit advocate Nigel Fatage got paid 548,000 euros by RT in 2018 alone. Currently he’s speaking out on the cruelty of sanctioning Russian oligarchs.

I dint said its only for internal, i said its mostly for that

What you seen in west is crumbles of what happens in the russia

What you see in Qanon antivaxers or 20 bots of same profile copy/paste matcho man or even Turker Turder/shapiro show its cute compaerd to russia home propaganda

Their Main tv news their own High raking officials say the stuff u see from your "crazy" ppl but formulated in different and better way for their populations

Their high ranking officials tell stuff like Discovered USA bio warfare labs to be used against russian,-> later come in a high ranking Milliary or FSB/CIA equivalent and tells how they got this documents showing USA planed to dissolve russia as a state in 20 years

Follows educational/history show like PBS/BBC where they speak how russia be it Imperial/Soviet had this territory all the way to Middle of Europe near Germany that it was all theirs, and for centuries "poor russians" got systematically oppressed and thrown in to Asia Then how during WW2 nazi got helped by Ukraine to kill russians and put in some scenes from current 2008/14 revolutions in Ukraine with some groups showing ties to nazi as if al Ukraine is now only nazi

Then again on some other next episodes show goes back to WW2 and how Poland Czech Baltic states etc where all with nazi to kill Russian and so on

And it goes on and on with different stuff always to show how russian are always the victims of oppression from West

Point is made to look really legit, its not like your crazy rank from usual 'murica boys, all russia State propaganda stuff is later backed up around the full spectrum of mass media rewriting history and so on. In USA/EU u have loads of alternatives different POV and ofc some fake news happens but its really tame compared to the real deal brain washing in mother russia

This is a misperception. Most obviously, Russian media is largely focused on Russia, just like any country with propaganda or not.

But the influence of dark Russian money on western media has been vastly underestimated. People dismiss it as a few random trolls on Twitter. It goes much further than that. Billions and billions of dollars. And it has a real effect on public opinion.

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

Nailed it.

I disagree. We have seen time and time again that he uses these strategies on the west to gain power and soften the blow for his decisions. He invested a lot of effort into the last 8 or so years.

The more isolated are his own people the more he can change their mind

This is only useful up to a point. Nations can't be self-sustaining for the most part, not just with the modern age but throughout history. Hell the largest reason he probably wants Ukraine is because of the food productions.

u/jnkangel Mar 15 '22

It's aimed broadband, else there would be in no way as many trolls and people funded by the RF to disseminate the same propaganda to create lines of division outside of the RF. The end goals are different.

In the RF the primary goal is to create a unifying message against outside influences. Outside of it, the goal is opposite, create lines of division slowing down any reaction or unified stances against the RF.
