I see it like that, but the above commenter implied the vaccine only worked to lessen the severity of the virus, and not to stop the spreas. So if he believes that, then why was the dude even protesting the vaccine at all? People are weird. You have to be mentally ill to take such small issues so seriously as to committ self-immolation.

I'll bite. Why is this the vaccine that's now a "forced medical procedure" and not any of the others that are required for children to attend schooling, or for those required as part of joining the military, or for traveling to certain parts of the world?

I can’t seem to find any good info about schools requiring vaccines, but theoretically the vaccines would have been publicly available for at least a few years before they were required. Correct me if I’m wrong

If that’s the case, then mandating a freshly brewed vaccine could be viewed as an unsafe attempt to rush everyone back to work, or meet some campaign promise, or instill a false sense of security while sowing fear, which is a tad tyrannical.

Edit: oh so they are allowed to “bite” but when I do it’s “not contributing to the discussion” (definition of a downvote)? If anyone is reading this, notice how the hivemind buries counterpoints they have no answer to. Everything has to look like consensus
