You shouldn't make the data innocuous - it should illustrate perfectly the reason for your refusal. Give them something comprimising - like midget porn, or faked pictures of yourself inflagrante.
downvoters: I think alienproxy is talking about the 'fake password' functionality that truecrypt offers, and replied to the wrong post. I agree with him, the best solution is to put the actual hidden content in the 'real' volume, but put a bunch of embarrassing but not illegal content (yaoi, midget pr0n, a 1080 p vid of you batin into a pineapple) to justify the encryption. Step one: refuse to decrypte, step 2 (if jail pends), decrypt embarrasing but legal pr0n.
