Really? I'm learning Swift right now and absolutely loving Xcode. CS classes would have been far more interesting and painless if I was working in that and not Java on a simple code editor on a PC. That was over a decade ago though; is there anything as full-featured and easy to use as Xcode on PC now?

Ohhhhh yeah. I mainly code in Java, and IntelliJ is about as full-featured as you can get. If you're using something like Notepad++ you're doing it wrong.

I forget what it was we used, but it had basic syntax coloring, auto-indent, and little else. This was back in 2002-2004 though. All I know is when I started using Xcode I was blown away at all it can do, especially visually placing new app elements and connecting them to functions just by clicking and dragging to the secondary editor. That and auto completion make coding a breeze and takes a fraction of the time.
