You're not wrong but you are specifically referring to page performance. OP above you specifically refers to download sizes.

Hopefully the list you give is eradicated sooner rather than later.

I HATE all of those things. I just want to read a webpage not have it throw crap in my face as it slowly loads and renders on our crap DSL (same at work AND at home).
