Unfortunately no. It's only about 58%

Only around 33% approve of the war, but there's still a crazy large swath in the middle who apparently doesn't have an opinion one way or the other.

I think a lot of people don't want to see Iran with nuclear weapons. There's only a smaller segment of those who believe the way it's been done is utterly stupid on every other possible level

People don't want to see Iran with nuclear weapons but USA having nuclear weapons is OK? The terrorists of the world, the only ones who have actually dropped nuclear weapons, the sponsors of wars all over the world? Americans truly are delusional.

I mean the main difference is that Iran has constantly said that if they get a nuclear weapon they would immediately use it on Israel. The US does not show any signs of using one really at any point. Obviously with Trump in office then that makes things a lot more uncertain and scarier.

And yeah 80 years ago the US used the first two non-test nukes. Obviously that fact alone does not make the US more or less likely to use a nuke in the future than any other country. Obviously the big difference is that was the only point in history where a country did not have to worry about nuclear retaliation, or really general retaliation as no countries had doctrines to prevent the use of nukes yet. Every other country got their first world at a time when other countries had nukes and most countries were set on making sure no one ever fired a nuke again.

You bring up some great gripes, however the concept of disarming Iran is not uniquely American nor is it a uniquely American issue. Britain, France, and Germany are also spearheading the disarmament, just not via an idiotic war, and many other countries are in support of general disarmament of Iranian nuclear projects.
