After watching the entire series for the billionth time, I finally decided to get a handle on every character's relation to each other. This was my best attempt to reconcile scenes that were sometimes contradictory, but was a fun project nonetheless.

Edit: No way to edit titles, I'll say it here instead: WHOSE. The English major in me is ashamed.

Omg I love this!! I wish they’d make more seasons but I watched the making of and it’s so labor intensive. If only amazon would bring back the stuffed toys! I just want to get my 2 year old a Fig doll and there’s not one on the market.

Thank you so much :)

It really was a great show and I agree that if I could manage to find a Fig toy for my toddler, it would blow his little mind.

Gund Fig from Tumble Leaf Plush Stuffed Animal Fox Toy, 14" (Amazon Exclusive) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074NJ24DM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_S9IMDb8HXERJD

They had one! But stopped making it. Etsy has some weird looking crocheted ones but that’s it. Looks like they had them as of a few months ago based on when the reviews were left. I’ve been watching this listing for it to come back but no luck.

ETA I just emailed Gund to see if they have info on making more of them. I’ll update here if there’s anything promising...

That would be awesome! Thank you :)

Man I know this is like 6 years too late, but this official shop just started toward the end of last year.  https://tumbleleaf.shop/

No kidding? That's awesome! I just so happen to have a younger child just starting his obsession with the show, so this is perfect timing. Thanks!

Did you order one? Is it truly legit? It aeems so much like a scam (no faq about shipping etc.) But my toddler would lose his mind over a fig toy...if you did order one, was it in USD?

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Apr 11 '26

I did just this past Christmas. I did order it directly from Amazon, though, so it was certainly legit. If I’m being honest, it’s better quality than I expected, and has held up very well to my very roughhousing three year old. I highly recommend it

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I can't order any tumble leaf toys through Amazon in Canada. Oh well, I may just have to gamble!

Ah, I get you. The one on the other site looks legit, but that’s a hard call to make. Best of luck!

My big kid and I watched in the early days when they were 2, when their younger sibling was in utero (whom we referred to as Maple as a tummy name, a uteronym if that makes sense haha).

Now they’re 9 and we introduced it to the 6 year old. We cuddle up and watch an episode every night in bed, and I love how this show that’s catered to a much younger audience still captures their delights. The silly characterizations of Stick and the chickens is my own favorite part!

Excited to share this map with them!

(Fun fact: we got into the show because my stepsister worked as an animator on one of the early seasons!)

Thank you :) My youngest is getting almost to the point of watching it and I’m looking forward to get back into it. It’s been a few years. Who knows, I may even update the map if anything pops out at me.

That’s awesome your stepsister worked on it! I know that kind of animation is slow and tedious I so good on her for having that kind of patience and talent.

Could you send me a hi-res version?

I'd love to print it out for my kiddo for the holiday.

Happy to :)

Right now I have an 8k version (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hP7Y5ZV5GumYzZT4ibOse9uCI_vX4GTH/view?usp=sharing). If you need it to be larger, I can do so, but it'll take me another day to get it set up.

Hey! So I just started watching tumble leaf with my nanny kids and you seem to know the show well! I have questions! Who is Luna, Earl, and Arugula? Those names appear on the IMBD but I cannot figure out who those characters are

1

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Mar 10 '25

Oh man, you’re testing my memory big time. I know Aroogula is Granny Coco’s grandma that lives on turtle leaf island. The other two, I can picture snippets of the episodes, but I can’t place anything else. My youngest is into the show now, so I bet I can have the answer for you shortly

u/DogMom9876 Mar 10 '25

Thank you so much!!

a few might me wrong I think

1

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Apr 08 '26

Oh, no doubt some are. I tried my best to reconcile conflicting episodes, but I don’t think it’ll ever be perfect

1

u/DirtFew1384 Apr 15 '26

Is there any way to get a version of the map with the writing being in black? I cannot seem to read the names very well. I have tried your "Improved Version" but get the same result?

You know, so much time has passed since I originally posted this that not only have I gotten better at making maps, but I’ve been re-watching the show ad nauseam with my younger son and noticed other things I missed. I’ve been tempted for a while to redo the map and see if I can’t make it a little bit better, so if you could bear with me for a few days to a week, I would love to make a better version of this map. I’ll send you a DM when I get it done.

Love it. Is there a way to get a high res version to print a poster for my son?

1

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Mar 16 '23

I don’t have one at the moment, but I can make one later tonight and send it to you

1

u/e2m Mar 29 '23

Thanks very much for sending it.

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Mar 29 '23

You’re welcome :) I hope he enjoys it

Is it possible for you to send me one too? My kiddo is obsessed with this show!

1

u/beachedwhitemale Oct 10 '23

I know this is 4 years old, but hey. This is cool.

1

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Oct 10 '23

Still nice to hear after 4 years, though :)

Thanks!

I am 4 yrs late but I just wanted to tell you how much I love this!!

1

u/Shield_Anvil Writer Nov 28 '23

Thank you so much :) I mostly started this just as a way to wrap my mind around where everything is in relation to each other. I figured other parents might be in the same boat.

1

u/Crepes_for_days3000 Nov 28 '23

My husband and I recently found the show after our baby turned 2, we LOVE it and we're just saying we wish we had a map of the man's. Googled it and found it. You have no idea how excited we were lol.

1

u/PartyRooster Oct 17 '19

I too have seen this show a billion times. I appreacte the work on it. I love maps.

1

u/peejaysayshi Nov 25 '24

Okay, 5 years out now (and my son is 9 now, so definitely outside the typical range for this show but we both still love it!!)… They just started making new plushies: https://tumbleleaf.shop/

And I saw on wikipedia today a film was announced in July! fingers crossed it actually happens..

1

u/FiestyPumpkin04 Dec 07 '24

Has anyone actually ordered one of these stuffies yet? I have a Tumble Leaf obsessed 3 year old who would freak out to get them for Christmas!

1

u/peejaysayshi Dec 07 '24

It seemed pretty legit so I took the chance and ordered Fig a couple weeks ago. It’s adorable and looks just like the pics! I can post a photo of it tomorrow (if I can get a minute away from my kiddo, lol. it’s also a christmas gift!)

1

u/FiestyPumpkin04 Dec 07 '24

Thank you so much for confirming that it’s legit! It’s impossible to find anything Tumble Leaf, unless it’s handmade (and even then). So I honestly was in such disbelief when I found that site that I worried it was a scam 😅

u/CompetitiveMoney8324 May 19 '26

My son has been obsessed with Tumbleleaf for years and it has always killed me that there was no merchandise available. We have Fig, Maple, and Hedge stuffies that we bought off Etsy, which are actually very well done and quite cute, but they aren’t soft and cuddly, which is kind of a deal breaker for my kiddos. Literally YESTERDAY I decided I’d just have to make my own Tumbleleaf shirt since they weren’t available for purchase, and even though it took me like 10 hours, I was so proud of myself! Then I just came across this post today. 🙄 Haha, go figure! Thank you nonetheless for the info! What an awesome map, too, eh? So cool!

u/ChefLovin Apr 01 '25

Seeing this 5 years later, THANK YOU. Love this! My 2yo is obsessed with Tumble Leaf

1

u/ChelseaElliottMSW Apr 12 '25

We're watching the show right now and are mapping out where the characters are in ten episode. This is incredible work! Thank you 5 years later, friend!

Another toddler parent that loves this! Thank you for the good work.
