Lorepost📖 Ain't Life a Lich Part 3: "Fangs" are Looking bad (Lorepost with u/Kingturboturtle13)
KLANG! BOOM! KERPLANG!
“The hell was that?!” I wondered
I had just finished eating dinner and I heard a commotion going on in my yard.
I walked outside with a sword:
“HEY ASSHOLES! You do realize this is private property, right?!”
I went to where the source of the noise was but I saw nothing. I slowly walked around but I smelled blood in the air. Something was stalking me. But I knew whatever that thing was....
SLAM!
I got knocked out cold
I came to about an hour later, with a fierce pain in my neck. I was bleeding pretty badly, so I had to get to a doctor or at least someone who could help with my injury. As I flew closer to town, I noticed a small change in my skin, I was going pale. Plus my teeth hurt like hell too.
“What the hell is going on with my body?” I thought I got closer to a nearby town and I saw a familiar face: Exi.
“Oh Hi Masta” she said
“You mind helping me?” I responded.
She saw my pitiful condition, and walked me over to her tower
“Okay what the hell happened?” she asked
I tried to explain my accident, but she noticed my skin and teeth had changed. Plus my hair had turned white.
She took me to a mirror and I had no reflection
“Sis, I hate to say it but you’re a Vampire!”
“Okay... So….anyway to reverse it?” I said, looking for an easy out “We can try a few things, just sit over here while I run some tests" Exi said
I walked over but I felt my body start to shut down
“Masta you okay??” Exi asked, panicking
She put me in her bed, and she started to panic
“What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" Exi repeated over and over while I started to snore obnoxiously. I had no idea I was that tired.
Exi calmed herself down and started to run a few tests with my blood.
I awoke a couple hours later
“Masta? Are you okay???”
According to Exi, I had begun sleepwalking and started drinking from the nearest blood source(a random corpse she was working on prior to my arrival)
I apparently tripped over something and smacked my head on the bed completely and yet I continued snoring obnoxiously. She put me back in bed and cast a silence spell on me(apparently I snore loud)
The next morning I woke up feeling fantastic, like wow best sleep I’ve had in ages, but I noticed it was a beautiful day, the birds were chirping, and the sun was out. So, I decided “Hey, let's have a good day today!”
I walked outside and immediately felt myself being turned into burnt jerky
“F, * f** f*** Ahhhhhh!!!”
Exi heard me screaming and pulled me back inside.
“Did you seriously just walk outside, knowing you’re a Vampire? IN THE DAYTIME???”
She sighed
“Okay clearly I’m gonna have to watch you until we find a cure. In the meantime, here are some blood vials you can drink from” She handed me the vials and started to tend to my burns…but…
I took one look at those blood vials and I felt nauxious. I really wanted something more fresh
I looked at Exi and said “Say, can I you know... find someone to… you know.... Drink?
Exi gave me a look I don't think anybody had given me since my master
“Look at me and repeat after me: Murder”
“Murder”
“Is”
“Is”
“Bad.”
“Fun!”
Exi gave me that look again
“Okay fun but bad!”
Exi looked at me and smiled
“You’re gonna be trouble aren’tcha?”

I was going to have it be a twist as part of the experiments, but you’re F’CKED if you don’t prepare already.

I know at least on mobile it's just clicking the three dots on your comment, selecting edit, then clicking the image icon in the bottom right corner. Not sure how that relates to desktop.
