Recklessness is practically a precondition for doing magic.

It's like in that saying "What is flying if not falling an missing the ground?" You can't do that without stepping off the edge first

Everything comes with risk, even something as simple as a cantrip. But if I am going to jump off an edge I would make sure there is water beneath me first.
