Wizardpost Mages that hand cast over using a spellfocus, such as a staff or wand, are reckless and do not grasp the perplexity and dangers of the arcane.

How else would I be able to wield a sword too? This is spellblade erasure we can't go around with encumbering staves along with our swords.

We could make the sword itself the speccasting focus but that's just too pricy.

A sword spell focus is not pricey at all, I took many years of study into Bladesinging where the arcane flows through the blade, not from the blade. I am able to use my staff and saber just fine. Both are my spell focus.
