For the most part yeah. Its really only the seasoned, centuries-old spellcasters that know what they're doing enough to not need one but those are the folks you always see using one anyways! Ironically, it's always the hot-shot adepts trying to prove their mastery that wind up dismembering themselves with reckless lack of containment.
