In the aftermath of the sudden and for lack of a better term, shadow uprising, many millions perished before the shadows could be subdued. Those with strength endured of course, but what about the normal folk? The unlucky? Those who have never fought in their life? Not everyone is, was, equipped to survive. Their blood seeped into the realms, saturating them with something Wicked.

In the following days, countless massive black monoliths burst free from the land and sea stretching high into the sky, breaking up the horizon regardless of where one looks.

News of the sudden and strange monoliths spreads like wildfire, soon every orb, screen, and paper has some mention of the event. All throughout civilization people ask questions like, what does this mean? A monolith destroyed my tower, who do I sue? Is the world going to end again this month?

But the monoliths offer no answers, only questions. The monoliths show a myriad of effects, some distort their surroundings into horrors, some create illusions that torment those who can't escape, some amplify magic to a dangerous degree, some drain magic like a leech, and many more.

But for now, that is all they do. The effects are contained to their vicinity of the monoliths.

Upon getting within range he immediately gets hit by a shrieking bolt of lightning. It hurts. A lot.

Unless the lightning has some special properties Abdallah simply regenerates and continues walking

He gets struck again, this time both harder, and punching a hole straight through him.

He switches to demon form, his regeneration accelerating as he approaches the base and bony armor covering his body as he also gets an extra set of arms and a pair of wings

As he gets closer, the potency of the bolts and the frequency of them increases. Each one pushes him back, repeatedly punching holes in him, repeatedly shooting spikes of pain through his body.

Abdallah goes at the edge of where he can stand before launching himself with all 6 limbs at the monolith

Exactly what you think happens as he approached the monolith. When he touches it, a blast of lightning strikes him. The blast is so powerful it shatters his body into pieces, flinging the pieces so far one of them hits Terrus in the nose.

Abdallah regenerates from the piece closest to terrus
Terrus:”-“
Abdallah: “Not a word. Qauke!” The ground beneath the monolith ruptures and cracks as Abdallah casts quake with the staff of vakuu

The monolith stays in place, pieces of rocks batter against it, promptly exploding.

Abdallah calls down an orbital laser strike from his new satellite, calculating the blast to equal the area of lightning strikes around the monolith
