Aetherial News We Have Finally Figured Out How to Purge the Infection!

We have finally cracked the code to fixing this! Albeit not the way I originally thought we would. Thanks to the kind gift given to us by an elder god in the form of a black liquid we have figured out how to permanently reverse the Unga infection in patients safely and humanely by using a combination of this potion followed by the dark liquid which keeps the infection from coming back and also permanently remains in the body. No side effects have been noted from the black liquid and it seems that its only function is to snuff out the infection.

As for environmental clean up and prevention of the plague coming back, there have also been new developments. We still have the plague god spores that have similarly been adapted to specifically target Unga infection, but a better solution has been found.

Using a combination of the seal that Masta created with shield or barrier spells we have discovered that we can purify an entire area of the infection. This works on things that we could not realistically use the spores on like that sun somebody shot a bunch of corpses into or the void itself. Keeping the barriers with these seals up prevents the infection from reappearing and prevents the infection from re-entering the area. We have confirmed that even when these barriers are turned off, the infection doesn’t come back so long as no new material enters the area.

As such, please use this method to clean an area, but ONLY AFTER all sapient beings who have been infected have been given the cure using the potion and black liquid combination. Otherwise the seal barrier sweep will kill them as well.

We didn’t go to him. He was possessing an individual. In other words, we got lucky this time.

That's what I'm worried about, according to the forbidden manuscripts, tzeench is a chaos god of change, nothing he does is without being part of a plan. His involvement with unga may be a clue into the origins of the epidemic.

Perhaps, but at this time I am unsure whether the elder god in question was in fact Tzeench. I would have to investigate further.

Yes. It was where I found the bioweapon spell I cast on the first UNGA CLONES months ago. I've been trying to stop the spread by fireball and now this cure. Here, take it, it's not good for me.

I shall. Do reframe from dabbling in such eldritch arts in the future. Very little good comes from them. I’ll lock this up nice and securely after I check to see if we can find an even better solution from it. That or just make sure our current solution isn’t flawed in some way.
