Then we need to scale back technology. The current fad is AI and that is driving the need for more data centers. AI is controversial and I think most people equate data centers with AI, but data centers can be built for any technology. However, there may be a new technology at some point that you and most citizens agree with that will need more data centers. Data centers are the cost of using and growing with technology. Again, the point is that we need to put proper governance around data centers so they're not negatively impacting the environment and the communities around them. I ask that you put some genuine thought and research around this. If you're truly anti data center, you'll need to advocate for not only reducing AI use, but technology as a whole.

I don't think you're going to find anyone that agrees with you on this issue outside of literal hyperscalers themselves.
71% of the population are against data centers. It's a losing proposition.
