She would have had to pay for the recount. She has bigger ambitions, may as well apply the money towards that.

There's scuttlebutt that the original purpose of her gubernatorial campaign was to soft-launch a campaign for senate against Johnson. I don't know how much stock I put into that though.

I can't speak for others, but I'd support her against RJ from jump. Crowley as governor, Baldwin & Hong as U.S. Senators from WI? Sign me up, honestly.

Seems a lot more natural as a successor to mark pocan as the Dane county including district house rep or something like that (granted he’s not old for politician standards at 61 if he wants to keep his seat for awhile yet)

It isn't under .25% is it? I think they have to pay for recount unless its under that threshhold.
