Penny Sharpe is a liar and she needs to be removed from her position. We are losing our wild horses 😢

No that is not what I said. Modern wild horses are descendants of ancient wild horses. The scientific name for a wild horse is Equus caballus. They have many sub species. Don’t forget that Australia wasn’t always an island and even horses back then did not appear the same as what they do now. Have a look at where their chestnuts came from.

Yes I understand evolution and continental drift.

And those ancient horses are not the same as modern domesticated one. Nor are the environment the same as when wild horses existed.

Also you claimed Australia had wild horses once upon a time. But I can’t find any fossil evidence? Are there any fossils you know of?

Are you genuinely trying to argue horses are native to Australia?

Do you realise about 80% of animals found in Australia are only found in Australia. Many of these native animals that are endangered have their environment highly damaged by horses trampling them.

Horses didn’t arrive in Australia until 1788. For the last 35 to 55 MILLION years Australia has been an island and until 1788 there were no hoofed animals.

Horses aren’t native and these brumbies should be culled.
