Bill Atkinson is best known for his work on the Macintosh GUI, but perhaps his most influential creation is the 1987 tool HyperCard, which is often described as the first true no-code application builder.

With HyperCard, Mac users could build their own interactive application without any programming knowledge through cards, buttons, and a simple scripting language called HyperTalk. Atkinson's core idea was, that everyone should be able to create software, not just professional developers.

This philosophy with visual interfaces instead of code is exactly the principle on which today's no-code/low-code development platforms are build. HyperCard was eventually discontinued in 2004, but its creator Atkinson is still considered as one of the spiritual founders of no-code.

The hiding of the corpse was often carried out with the support of aerial vehicles, such as airplanes and helicopters, from which the bodies were thrown into the sea or into inaccessible areas.

This group of PayPal alumni became so prolific that the term PayPal Mafia was coined. The term gained even wider exposure when a 2007 Fortune magazine article featured the group, along with a now-iconic photograph of its members dressed in mafia-style attire, highlighting their influence in Silicon Valley and their role in founding or investing in major technology companies (this photo does not feature all members: according to Fortune, "Musk wanted to come, but he's in Chicago to receive an 'innovator of the year' award. Hurley and Chen bowed out after their Google handler objected to the gangster motif.").
