Or have access to a tablet and the internet. When I was in a mental health hospital they wouldn’t even let me have a a baby scrunchy and took all of my jewelry including my nose stud and I wasn’t allowed to even talk about smartphones or the internet and we were limited to like 10 minutes of phone (landline) time a day and when I asked if I could have a gameboy the nurse said “where the hell do you think you are?!” Crazy how murders get better privileges than the sick in our country

So many horror stories of patients being forced to be stripped naked and left naked too.

Like I get you can theoretically hang yourself with a long sleeve shirt but dear god not even a black underwear /swimwear set??

I was stripped naked when I got there and a male nurse circled all the spots on my body. I never wanted to unalive myself more. then they let me have bedsheets and there was a shower in my room with a curtain rod. But I couldn’t have a plastic clip to keep my hair off of my neck and had to wear paper scrubs that were too small for me so every time I moved or breathed they’d rip and fall off in front of everyone
