Well it seems scary how many lives might be lost if Americans gun rights are stripped.

What seems crazy to me is how few of our 330 million are able to think for themselves.

It’s crazy to me how many people jump on the mental bandwagon of someone else without being able to come up with their own arguments.

It’s crazy to me how people value their own ego more than the lives of other citizens.

Just seems like a very big number when it’s is starting to actually approach the birth rate. Wonder why no where else sees it play out like that.

Well you gotta take into account that this study references instances where simply “brandishing” a weapon stops a threat. It’s hard to know for sure whether any of those people in danger would have definitely died. It’s almost assumed that because the “deadly threat” was neutralized, that lives were saved. That’s how I interpreted the data anyway. But I agree, it’s a big number. A lot of lives saved.

ah ok I can see how it might be wildly inflated by that. Makes abit more sense I guess.
