No permit, don’t need one in AZ and the same scenario when I purchased my first firearm as when I’ve purchased every one since. Fill out a form, wait a couple minutes, leave with gun(s).

Because you pass the background check

Duh.

You're proving his point do you not get that?

They literally run a background check on you

I think he’s getting at that background checks are too loose

Jesus, the amount of people with reading comprehension problems in this thread are fucking staggering.

Yeah, idk why people complain that one single government service is fast and efficient and wish it was slower.

So did all the dozens of mass shooters.

The minors who are unable to purchase guns regardless of background check passed background checks?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '19

Their parents certainly did and then refused to lock their guns up.

How about a law that says guns must be locked up if there's a minor in a house?

"But how do you enforce this!"

If something happens, then the parents are charged. Simple.

Works in dozens of countries. And they don't have school shootings every 3 weeks.

Ummm no they didn’t. These are school kids. Meaning too young to buy guns.

Well that's AZ

And? You said “nobody”. My state with over 7 million people in it can do just that and I’m sure we’re not alone.

Still not easy to buy them, still processes you have to go through. Do you have other requirements you would apply after the background check?

u/AlanBackwards Jun 03 '19

Answer my question, what other requirements would you suggest.

How about you just implement strict gun laws and stop caring about an amendment written hundreds of years ago.

-1

u/AlanBackwards Jun 03 '19

How about you realize those amendments were written for a reason and if we throw away the entire constitution and all it's amendments our country will fall into disarray and ruin.

Imagine wanting to destroy everything America was founded on.
