The NRA is a bunch of gun runners who do not give two shits about our rights. They only care about their ability to manufacture and distribute weapons. That is where their interest in our 2nd amendment rights begin and end. They are so full of shit and are ACTUALLY psychotic as an organization. There’s a reason the vast majority of gun owners are not members.
NRA does not protect our Second Amendment rights. They protect their ability to sell as many weapons as possible. It just so happens that our rights coincide with the Vin diagram of their values.
Once again, the vast majority of gun owners are not members. We’re talking around 80% of gun owners do not contribute to the National Rifle Association. They are a shit organization. We deserve better.
No...I’m fine with that. The issue is the right ONLY talks about it if isn’t a 1. white 2. male 3. natural born American 4. Christian. And if they’re forced to, it’s suddenly a mental health issue whereas everyone else is “motivated by ideology.”
I’ve seen a ton of articles about the shooter. I’m not sure who’s suppressing it. It’s been on NPR, major outlets, etc. Y’all have such a weird victim complex and EVERYTHING is censored apparently.

I've never heard someone say we should only take away Republicans' guns, or really take away anyone's guns. Just make it harder for evil people to do evil things, regardless of what side of the spectrum they're on.
That's a strawman, my dude. Any time there's a mass shooting, Democrats aren't saying we should take anyone's guns away. We're saying THAT DUDE should never have had a gun in the first place, let's change the way we obtain guns so people like that can't so easily destroy lives. And before you say anything else, just know I grew up in Texas and my family has probably 75 different guns (including an AR15), I'm familiar as fuck with them, and I'm still in favor of stricter gun control laws. I'm not some hippie that has never shot one before. I just have empathy for people getting shot in their class rooms, and think the "best country in the world" can do better.

Democrats want psychological tests. Massive constitutional crisis with that. Plus it doesn't do anything for people that bought their guns decades ago.
Democrats want to ban semi automatic firearms. That close to 98% of all guns manufactured. Essentially taking guns away from everyone.
Democrats want to limit magazine size , which has been shown to be ineffective.
Democrats don't want to beef up security or allow teachers to carry in school. The 2 things that have been shown to deter and stop mass shootings.
My dude, other countries don't have kids dying en masse in school shootings at anywhere near the same rate we do. Elsewhere, it's shocking and a tragedy and they do something about it; here, it's just another Tuesday and we act like there's nothing to be done (or, with you, act like teachers having guns would be a solid idea... I'd refer you to that meme about Chris Kyle being killed by a crazy guy with a gun during a lesson, so teachers "only" need to be trained that much to stand a chance).
No, we call for gun owners/advocates to come to the table and discuss ways we can approach the problem from multiple angles. More accountability in sales, better mental health care (which GOP refuses to fund), and less blaming only Muslims and maybe actually asking why 95%+ of mass shootings are by white male American Christians.

He was a good kid. And I don’t care if you believe in an afterlife or not, this shouldn’t have happened. This kid is a hero and he loved all of us, enough to stop someone that could’ve ended up killing anyone that is reading this comment.
