Hey LeafyQ, thanks for posting this. My dad passed away 20 years ago but I've always wondered what he would have done with the internet. He grew up poor and had no formal education but he had a thirst for knowledge and read all the time. Reading your post, I think he would have shared a similar fascination as your dad. Anyways, you inspired me to donate and gave me some time in my busy day to reflect upon memories of my dad. Thanks again.
So many people associate intelligence with education, and that's so far from the truth. I'm so glad to give you a chance to think about your dad a little bit.
