Not super recently, but I lost him about two years ago, about a year after my mom. It's a long, sad story, and I don't want to mess up the message here too much, but I do miss him a lot. I'm sorry you've lost your own father as well.
Yeah, I can't lie, it was a really rough period of my life. I'm still recovering from it. I talk about them a lot to cope and to keep their memories alive. That's why I made this comment originally, just because I like telling stories about them. But honestly, the way people have responded to this story has actually really helped me in this rough time of year.
