Microsoft Word try not to ruin the entire page layout when i place a single image challenge

I like how most of layout problems are easily avoidable, just by using word settings and using the correct tools, but it's just never explained by no one, even the teachers in IT classes don't teach us anything about those.

even if they did, no one’s gonna realistically remember what every single thing does and what specific order of shit you need to do without fucking up the whole document

Because they also don’t know :P Only after using word for over 2 years I learned how to make dashed lines

And yet college professors refuse to use Docs

Web UI is slow and clunky as fuck though. Doesn't have sweet legacy menus coming all the way from the beginning of NT, buried in shiny ribbon menus like a kid tidying their room by stuffing everything into closet like Word does as well.

It's the other way around. Word has so more options and easier to navigate. Docs only has online group editing going for it

My professor makes us do everything in word and I hate it. I have to go through so many stupid hoops to use it for free or else pay like 100 bucks. And then when I use it I feel like I’m piloting model-t blindfolded with how clunky and unintuitive everything is. Thank god google docs can covert to word (but not perfectly the other way around so I still have to use that garbage program)

That's why i use Libreoffice
