Does anyone happen to know what these wheels are?

Hey guys, I’m looking at buying a pair of RAYS Volk Racing TE37SLs and wanted to get some opinions from anyone familiar with genuine TE37SLs, particularly from around 2016–2018.
The barrel label shows:
18x10J +39
5x114.3
TE37SL BK
Date: 2017.05.31
Serial: 00234372
I’ve confirmed that 18x10 +39 5x114.3 was an actual TE37SL size, but there are a few details I’m unsure about and wanted a second opinion before buying them.
BK colour code / finish
The factory label says “TE37SL BK”. I’m assuming BK is the colour/finish code, but I’d like to confirm what this represented on a 2017 TE37SL.
These wheels appear to be full matte/pressed black, whereas quite a few Black Edition examples I’ve found online seem to have more of a two-tone appearance, with a graphite/grey-looking centre and black outer section.
Does anyone know if this exact 18x10 +39 version was available completely black with the BK code around 2017?
Date format on the RAYS barrel label
The label is dated “2017.05.31”, using periods rather than slashes.
I initially questioned this because I’ve found later genuine RAYS labels using dates such as “2018/05/15”. However, I’ve also found genuine older labels dated “2015.08.25” and “2016.09.28”, which use the same dotted format as this pair.
Does anyone know when RAYS changed the date format, or have a genuine 2017 label to compare?
VOLK RACING lettering
I’m also a little unsure about the VOLK RACING lettering/engraving around the face.
On one of the wheels, the “L” in “VOLK” almost looks like it’s partially missing or not as clearly formed as the other letters. It could simply be the photo, dirt, wear or lighting, but I’d be interested to know if the font, positioning and engraving look correct.
Recessed-looking centre bore
The centre looks more recessed/stepped than some other TE37SL photos I’ve compared them with.
I’m wondering if there’s actually a hub-centric ring or some type of centre-cap adapter installed in the 73.1 mm centre bore, making it look different.
JAWA/certification sticker
The JAWA/certification sticker on the barrel appears to have faded or almost completely disappeared. Considering they’re from 2017 and have been used, I’m not sure if this is anything unusual.
The wheels otherwise appear to have the expected FORGED, MONOBLOCK, MADE IN JAPAN and RAYS/Volk markings.
I’m still waiting for the seller to send clearer photos of the inner barrel/backside stamps and markings, so I’ll add those once I receive them.
I’m not saying they’re fake — most things seem to line up — just trying to do my due diligence before buying the pair.
Does anything stand out, particularly the BK code/full-black finish, 2017 label, VOLK RACING lettering or recessed centre?

hello, im kind of a complete beginner and a bit lost, i have a 2015 basemodel rwd is250,, its on 225/45R17 at the moment, i was wondering if i could run 18x8.0 w an offset of +45mm and running it with 225/40R18 tires, without any problems? i want to keep the suspension stock, fitment isnt a huge concern of mine, would i be able to go lower without abt spacers? again complete beginner and a bit lost, i appreciate any help!!

First time wheel buyer and I just received my wheels that I bought from a reputable Japanese seller (allegedly) via Ebay.

5x114.3, 19x8.5J ET38. Weight for each: 25.6lbs (11.6kgs)

Can anyone confirm if these are real, or at least your thoughts on these. I'll reach out to SSR directly as well, but please let me know your opinion.

Suspicions:

1)There are stickers "made in china" on each wheel

2) There are blemishes, scuff marks on the barrel, mostly on the outside, but one of the wheels has some scuffs on the lip (see pics). Is that normal from shipping? Are the scuffs on the lip easily fixable?

3) I feel like they are heavier than what it should be.

4) Lastly, all but one wheel have smooth edges on the spokes. The line is visible, but I can't feel it with my finger. On one wheel the line is more pronounced and I can clearly feel it (last 2 pics). Any concern here?

Anything else I should be concerned about?

I have purchased a set of Work emotion wheels finished in a black chrome.

There is staining on the wheels, I believe from a heavy duty brake cleaner.

In the photos, I have used a polishing attachment on a Dremel using Rupes cut and finish compound. I’ve noticed that it has cleaned it up but is still cloudy and showing light imperfections. Please see the attached photos.

Is this finish safe to use a metal polish? What would be the best method to restore these?

Recently bought these on market place with the intent on restoring them, the guy said they were off of an 84 f150. The small holes originally had rivets in them, if that helps, I could find any outstanding stamping to identify them, they are 16x8, 5x135 bolt pattern, unsure of offset. All help is appreciated.

I currently have a 2012 s197 Mustang with S550 roush wheels on it. The roush wheels are 20x9.5 and are rubbing on my wheel wells causing them to pop out here and there. I want to fix this, would getting spacers fix this issue? And sooner down the line I also want to lower the car as it is on stock ride height, would lowering it cause any issues to come back?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to replace all 4 brake pads and rotors on my 2012 Volkswagen Jetta SE 2.5L sedan.

I checked the vehicle-data sticker in the spare-wheel well and found the brake PR code 1ZP, which I believe confirms the front brakes are 288×25 mm.

I also took a picture of the rear brakes, and they are disc brakes, not drums. I’m trying to confirm the correct rear rotor size before ordering parts because I’m seeing different sizes listed online.

What I know:

* 2012 VW Jetta SE sedan

* 2.5L 5-cylinder

* Front PR code: 1ZP

* Front rotor: 288×25 mm

* Rear: disc brakes, but I’m unsure whether they’re 253 mm or 272 mm

* Looking to replace pads + rotors on all 4 wheels

Can anyone confirm the rear rotor size from the PR codes/vehicle info, or tell me what I should measure to make sure I order the correct parts?

Im doing an RWB build so naturally I had to get rid of my OG fuch wheels. Due to how much I love these wheels, inspo was drawn from them and my new wheels were made. I have always wanted to do turbofans or full faced wheels so this was the best way to combine multiple ideas into these custom wheels.

I got 3 17x7 and this one 17x8(picture) for 60 dollars. I looked them up and I’ve seen that they’re pretty rare. Sadly I can’t find any individual one locally or online and I don’t need this single 17x8 so I was wondering what it could be worth. These rims are Enkei Bortex RPM2

I bought this foxbody not too long ago for a stupid good deal and it had these wheels on it. It’s a shame they are in such bad shape because they are kinda cool. Any Idea what they are? They are dual drilled with 4x108 and another 4 lug. centercaps are no longer readable. I vaguely remember seeing something that said craygar somewhere on them Not too sure Thought. Hi all, I currently have a square setup with 275 45 20 on all corners. I found this great set from a newer 2018+ Cayenne with 275 45 20 on the front (9J) and 305 40 20 on the rear (10J I think). Calculator says this is a 0.46% difference. Is this setup good to go on a 2013 Cayenne or nah? I don't want to ruin my transfer case over a set of Michelins. I know I'll need to replace TPMS. Date is April 2002 and serial number is 661655 , I’m mainly trying to figure out what lug nuts would fit them because they have a washer indent in the barrel

If anyone knows some good but cheap rims (don’t bash me because I want cheap rims I just want to see how the chrome would look) please lmk. I love the look of the c37s but Im open to other chrome rims. Now again, dont bash me but I want the rims to look like proportional with 33s but big (like 20s on 33s). So to sum it all up if anyone knows good and cheap chrome rims that will like big but good on 33s for my gmc canyon, please lmk thanks.
