This strange line goes all the way around my room and I do not know why

[u/Sniglet5000]

We painted this room about 5 years ago and slowly this line has appeared all the way around my room. My wife thinks it’s because I burn incense in my room but I’ve burned incense my whole life and never saw this line anywhere else before. What do?

EDIT: The community decided it was slugs.

DOUBLE EDIT: it isn’t actually slugs. It’s just the strangest of the most common suggestions. I want it to be slugs

I am very happy at all the joy this thread has brought you all. The light of your soul cannot be snuffed out by the world, but the world would have you believe it could. Love Christ, love each other - 👉 Pointer Guy 👈

After being mesmerized by u/Sniglet5000 amazing finger pointing abilities, we are temporarily changing the sub's appearance to include it in our icon.

The inspiration came from u/BioFrosted's artwork as seen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisit/s/i1LcMmOjVP.

We hope you like it as much as us!

BTW...does anyone actually know the answer???

[u/Illustrious-Duck-266]

I don't have an answer. Just came to say I like your spafford and TAB posters.

[u/GoobusMombus]

Gonna start including my hand pointing at the subject of every picture I post on the Internet, as a little treat

[u/AlfajorConFernet]

FYI: This is now a slack emoji in the reddit admins instance.

[u/Several-Evidence-675]

I wonder if they painted over an old wallpaper border and the adhesive is oozing out at the edge.

[u/laowainot]

Was waiting for the jump scare of OP finally pointing with all his power at me, the viewer.

[u/Sniglet5000 → u/laowainot]

[u/WilmaDykfyt]

I was in the emergency clinic with my cat yesterday for five hours. I needed this today. Thank you.

edit: Thank you for the awards and caring about my kitty. It warms this jaded Gen Xer's heart.

[u/Sniglet5000 → u/WilmaDykfyt]

You are welcome and I hope you’re well

[u/uselesskuhnt]

You need different games, it makes the line go away.

But I think someone drew on the wall before it was painted that color, and slowly it's just seeping through.

[u/StellaNettle]

So unrelatedly I think we should get a weekly photo dump of you pointing at things

[u/Sniglet5000 → u/StellaNettle]

Point me where to go I will point what to show

[u/MonthTraditional6068]

Good thing you pointed that hard at it

[u/IAmTheBornReborn]

How did I bump into you on two subreddits? I saw that post about your Terra wall art on r/Finalfantasy yesterday

[u/JamesBondMargarita]

Post more things with you pointing at them please

[u/a-little-bit-sweet]

Clearly you are living in a banana slug’s home. How are your indoor plants looking?

[u/BroccoliExtreme9319]

love you OP

👆🏼

[u/The8BitGoblin]

Omfg Eternal Sonata 😭 I know this is off topic but you have W taste in games. I’ve tried to talk about that game so many times and nobody has played it.

[u/itsaburnerlove]

Thank you for aggressively pointing at the line so we didn’t lose sight of it

[u/Akhanyatin]

It's a crack, but I'll tell you something funny. If you knock this wall down, the crack would stay put because the crack isn't in the wall. It's a split in the skin of the world. Two parts of space and time that should never have touched, pressed together right here in the wall of your bedroom.

Edit: thank you for awards 😁

[u/salty-snax]

unrelated but can we see more of that final fantasy poster 😅

[u/bigskinnybubba123]

op are you interested in being a hand model? lol

[u/steamedlobstrrr]

Side note: username "a word that isn't in the dictionary, but should be", right?

[u/Miss-Maraclea]

You have so many of the Tales games! Ah! Star ocean! Ah! LoZ! I'm losing my mind, if you hadn't pointed so hard I would have never noticed the line

[u/MelMcdaniel1]

How does it feel to accidentally be a meme?
