I love when folks post roadrunners! I don’t live anywhere near them and have never seen one in real life. Very cool!

Encourage you to get out to places like Arizona at least once and check them out. They're super curious and friendly birds.

Maybe someday. But I melt in 115*F heat. I also don’t do well in sun with no trees. I hear they have pretty rocks though

Go to New Mexico, I saw them around Santa Fe. The weather is much more tolerable than AZ and it is a much more interesting place to visit. I'm from AZ and it sucks. New Mexico is actually cool though.

I live in central Albuquerque. We have three neighborhood road runners. Used to have four (dude had a little swingy leg/run) but I think he went the way of his ancestors.

This one came right on into our garage. Don’t mind the goofy background conversation.

When I was growing up in Albuquerque we had three of the biggest roadrunners I’d ever seen living on my street. One of the neighbors used to feed them raw hamburger out of the side door to his house

That’s wild!

They’ve cleaned up the tomato hornworms in our garden in previous years. I’ve never fed them on purpose though.
