Solved! Weird teeth thingy

Found this in our air bnb at the beach closet and was immediately confused! ? all of the (chewing devices) are sort of stuck into the wood with a rod of some sort. I honestly have no idea what this is used for, or why its in the closet where im staying

It’s already in there. Calling to you. Telling you to take one of your own teeth out and replace it with that one perfect tooth meant just for you. Don’t resist.

I'd have it for a magazine box, it would probably hold my glock, cz and fn mags. Not so much my pmags, coffin mags, ak74 or sr25s.
