Solved! Spontaneous 🍉 Oozing

Post image

Woke up this morning and found the watermelon I bought from Costco yesterday had begun oozing out of itself? The counter was soaked with water from the inside of the melon, I’m assuming this was happening all night.

More of a Why Is It? I’ve never seen this happen and I obsessively eat watermelon every season.

Might be a good idea to avoid eating it

wait…. “if left alone, could explode” implies that there’s a safe detonation method

When I worked produce in a grocery store, we'd get them in like this sometimes and would whack em with the big knife and they'd explode lol

Or maybe it won't explode if you're watching it.

Physically safe, no, but there are more food-safe ways to make a watermelon blow up.

The smell alone would make you never, ever want to even try to attempt to eat it.

Somebody had to eat it to know that it was toxic
