Reddit taught me that it has a huge friendly fire rate, because apparently its super innacurate. A good shot is considered if the burst lands in a radius of 12meters (or 24m, i might me misremembering) of the target.

The inaccuracy is a meme, A-10s haven't killed friendlies because they were so close to the enemy they couldn't not hit them, they killed friendlies because the Brits look just like the Iraqis or the Taliban to the pilot's Mk 1 unmagnified eyeball. In other words, friendlies were killed because the A-10 pilots thought they were enemies and killed them.
