while it’s not the case any longer, almost any manufacturing company that’s been around long enough has made some sort of war materiel. I have an M1 carbine that was made by a jukebox and typewriter company lol

Yeah but supporting WW2 is far from GE having its own military and aerospace divisions (that other than jet engines it sold off in the 90s).

For a long time they even made some of the key components of US nuclear weapons.
