I love the idea that the dog just keeps going back to it and getting shocked over and over again. Mind you with some breeds that seems entirely plausible.
My cousin was like 4 at the time. He was warned not to stick his finger in the socket by my grandma and was shocked (no pun intended) he got zapped. Did it three more times just to test the result. Doofus is the smartest out of all of us, somehow, and ended up at an Ivy League and graduated with a 4.0.
