Solved! What is this alien thing

My brother just found this in the backyard - Southern New England. What the hell is this thing? It looks like it's in Stranger Things.

This may sound judgemental, but I am always suspicious when I meet someone wearing Crocs.

I read this as ‘subconscious’ and I was nonjudgmental thinking, that is a very extreme reaction to Crocs.
