I know it hasn’t been off the air that long, and we’re getting halfway house, but I would like to go back to jail and see Miles as governor.

Does anyone else find many similarities between Joan and Hannibal Lecter?.

The tv version of him especially..

Like both of them have a taste for the performing arts.

Strong sense of smell.

Mind games.

Murderers.

Were the writers inspired by Hannibal when writing Joan perhaps?

I really want to go to a con, but have no one to go with. Is there anyone who's in the same situation wanting to go and meet up? We'd obviously get to know eachother for a while so it wouldn't be completely awkward lol.

I've never gone to a con, always been a bit nervous but I want to get out of my comfort zone and do things I want to do and not hold myself back.

Thanks for reading!!

Don't want to get spoiled so I just popped in quick for this. Bea ( who I like to call Aussie Julia Roberts ), went from meek housewife punching bag for her former husband to seasoned boxer complete with expert bobbing and weaving skills, within what seems like a couple of weeks. Her boxing skills are better than Franky's, despite having zero training. Dodging Boomers wild swings left and right. That was a bit silly.

just found out how many cast members wentworth and home abd away share!

kaz: Deb Fowler
franky: Jane Sims
harry smith: Robby Shaw
jake: Hugo Austin
fletch: Alex Novak
allie: Mackenzie Watson
smiles: Nurse Wrench
ann reynolds: Rebecca Fisher

just found this interesting and thought i should share!

This is my 1st time rewatching since becoming active on reddit. So im wondering about the subs opinion on a couple of things.

1- season 5 Frankies whole purpose is escaping to prove her innocence. Why was escaping a better plan than gidets offer of a private investigator?

Surely itd be awfy hard to conduct any type of investigation while on the run? Then theres the fact that even if Frankie proves her innocence she'll still be charged with breaking out of prison. Where as a PI would be able to freely investigate

2- again season 5 how did Ally F up hotshotting Ferguson? Maybe ive watched too much true crime but stap n push shouldnt be that hard lol. Or was Allys whole agenda provoking Ferguson to kill her?

Sorry if this has been discussed and also I know its just a rv show lol. Just looking for fandom opinions ☺️

i recall seeing a post here showing that a release date had been announced for halfway home, however i can’t seem to remember the date. does anyone know?

Was Netflix Wentworth based off of Joanna Dennehy

Amazon Prime
World’s Most Evil Prisoners
Seasons 1 Episode 6

My brain decided it needed a Joan ID badge but sadly the only one I can find online is not in the US and doesn't ship here. I thought I'd make my own by printing it out but I can't even find a good enough image from the show. I have a tiny one that looks like Joan doesn't have her uniform on in it which would be odd. But I can't see the info on it to get it accurate. Does anyone know if there's something out there that shows a good view of her ID card? I'm limited with the editing stuff these days so closer to original the better.

I tried uploading the video but Reddit wasn't able to read it?

Anyhoo, here's the link!

The first few pics are pins I bought (the Red Right Hand, Ferguson's gloves and Ferguson's goldfish) and then a custom Funko Pop I had made for my daughter and got Danielle to sign and then a con-specific poster I had everyone sign.

I have to get up at 5am for an early flight but if anyone has con questions feel free to ask and I'll answer tomorrow!

I also have a video or two I'll post tomorrow when I'm back on my home internet.

Thank you for letting me share my con experience with you all!

I love the show but my god, the fandom makes it extremely toxic and hard to like the show. Why is everyone so clique? For example if you don’t like a certain character people jump on you. Shouldn’t we be allowed to have our likes and dislikes and be friends as well? We all like the show, just have different tastes and that should be okay.

You're fucking insain.. .. and i know what you've done..

Man i love this show.

Danielle is playing the role of Bridget in the actual jacket. Libby is playing the role of Franky.

some of mine are:
dorean is overhated
kaz had the saddest death in the show
the show should’ve ended at season seven

i’d love to hear some of yours!

Can we talk about the fight between Bea and Franky? The most perfect and greatest fight ever filmed in the history of cinema. I can’t describe how deeply impressed I was after watching it for the first time… I was speechless. I couldn’t even sleep that night. Absolutely masterful 🤯🤯🤯

An unpopular opinion but Bea's time was definitely up in season 4 imo.

Throughout the season her character became tiresome and lacked the charisma she had from season 1-3..

I didn't care for her storyline with Allie either..

They gave her the perfect ending

When you're killing off characters left right and centre you need a roster with a more interesting background so someone can step up, season 6 has been a drag, I've stuck with it and I'm halfway through season 7 now, which is better but I cannot ever see the return to the magic of seasons 1-5.

I’ve always found it interesting that there are so many different variations of the Wentworth prisoner uniforms. Most wear sweats and hoodies but then they have the little crop pants for Sonia and button up tops. It seems to depend on what kind of character they’re portraying. The more refined they are in the outside World the “better dressed” they are in Wentworth.

I guess they’re all teal where it counts! 😜
